In a day when so much competition over the affections of young people is taking place, it is our desire to call young people to cherish and value Jesus Christ; the One who is most valuable and infinitely able to satisfy all of our deepest affections.  Our ministry exists for this sole purpose.  We want to call young people away from the love of this world, and into a satisfying and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.   Our vision is to spread a passion for the supremacy of Christ in the lives of the next generation.

  • Cherishing Jesus Christ starts from within, in our hearts.  It begins with a desire for Him; wanting to be with Him and please Him and represent Him well to the world, more than anything else in our lives. 
  • Cherishing Jesus Christ pulls us to seek Him daily.  It demands that we invest in a growing relationship with Him through spiritual disciplines (Scripture meditation, prayer, fellowship, evangelism, etc.).
  • Cherishing Jesus Christ must show itself in our daily lives.  It raises the bar for our daily decisions; causing us to make decisions for the purpose of pleasing Him and representing Him well. 
  • Cherishing Jesus Christ should always cause us to do life with other people who cherish Him.  It compels us to serve and minister to other Christians, for His glory.
  • Cherishing Jesus Christ makes us serious about His priority to seek and save the lost.  It drives us to seek to win people for Christ.

At a very basic level, our ministry to youth is carried out in 5 different ways.  They are:

  • Prayer - We do and will call upon God to bring spiritual fruit in the lives of our young people, for His glory. 
  •  Evangelism - We do and will passionately, seriously, and unapologetically call upon young people to give up everything necessary to follow Jesus Christ as God commands. 
  •  God-centered Biblical Teaching - We do and will diligently teach the Bible, nothing but the Bible, and as much of the Bible we possibly can, so that they will know Jesus Christ well.   
  • Relationships - We do and will seek to love our young people and their families with the same love that Christ Jesus shows us in the Cross. 
  • Modeling the Character of Christ - We do and will strive to show our young people what it looks like to be an authentic follower of Jesus Christ.
