The Shepherds' Fellowship

Shepherd's Community is associated with The Shepherds' Fellowship, an association (not a denomination) of churches rallying around the authority and sufficiency of Scripture, the importance of expository preaching, and the centrality of a biblical philosophy of ministry. The Fellowship serves as both a resource and an encouragement for pastors and Christian leaders around the globe. Shepherd's Community is an "evangelical" church. The term evangelical means that we take the Bible seriously and focus on the following message:

The reason we so often do things that we know to be wrong (violating our conscience, saying and doing things we know we shouldn't, failing to do things we should do, failing to have pure motives, etc.) is that deep down our hearts are morally corrupted. The only way for a person to go to heaven is if he or she is completely forgiven by God for all wrongdoing, and if his or her heart is cleansed.

The one and only condition God requires to receive that forgiveness and cleansing is faith, which results in repentance. Faith is believing what God has said in His Word, and entrusting your life to Jesus Christ (that means entrusting both your eternal destiny and your present life to Him).
